Friday Felines, A Day Late

Knit-Wit
Pandora
And finally proof of knitting. Socks, both made with Patons Kroy FX.  I am really liking this yarn, with the exception of this smaller yardage, and the rare splitting.  I like pointy needles for sock knitting so maybe using ones less pointy would fix that problem.  Both pairs will be residing in my youngest child's sock drawer until the temperature drops.

As always, Your productivity amazes me and puts me to shame. I LOVE Paton's Kroy. Its a great yarn (if scanty in the skein) and affordable and wears great.
I am ashamed to say that the gorgeous footlettes I started last year or the year before are STILL not complete (remember that patterning yarn with the brown, cream and turquoise that I got at Tangled Skeins one vacation?? YUP STILL NOT DONE!!!) and Ben's sweater started this past winter is still on sleeve the first (lower body and almost a sleeve...thats not nothing...but may as well be!). Also that xmas stocking I was doing for my neice in law is still not done and needs to be ready for shipping to Alberta. I suck.
Love the babies...where was Zeus this week???

Awww! Knit-Wit is adorable!

And nice socks! I like Patons Kroy, especially for hiking socks. But I have to do the socks toe-up and live with them being shorter than I like...the curse of large feet and short skeins!

I have big feet, and my daughter has the same size now, too. The socks end up shorter than I like but what are we going to do?

I really like the Kroy FX. It wears very well, too.

When I want longer socks, I pick up a contrast skein in a solid color and then do contrasting toes and heels for several pairs. Not as annoying as buying an entire extra skein for each pair!
